Where have you heard that? It's 4x weekly during the summer, so must be doing OK for them. Although how viable it is on an E75 rather than E95 is questionable.

Cant say much as would get some one in big trouble. Its a reliable word, but as I said hope its wrong.I would not want to travel to Faro on a dash 8. There might be some legs in the story. Time will tell.Hope you understand I cant say a lot more avout it.Where have you heard that? It's 4x weekly during the summer, so must be doing OK for them. I'd be very surprised at that but if Faro does get dropped (remembering that with the exception of CDG after September the other European routes aren't onsale) and currently it's onsale, then that would be the last route that needs a jet aircraft as the others could be operated by the Q400. I'd also have thought that the airport would then be able to get Ryanair to add a frequency and maybe even TUI as they use Flybe for 10 and 11 day packages.Word on the street Faro is stopping.. I will try to find out more about it. Hope its wrong as it gives FR a bit of compition.
Perhaps it ought to think of Flybe staff jobs before what connecting routes will work or not work. If the take over of Flybe goes through then routes and other departments will get sorted and hopefully staff will be sorted out ok.
In my book staff always come first to be sorted, but lots of cases that does not happen.
Rose tinted spectacles I'm afraid, would be wonderful if that was to happen but unfortunately theres fat chance just about every business treats employees as a commodity despite all the lip service the pay in public its the way of the world.
The only way to look at Flybe's situation is that at least some employees will come out of it O.K. as opposed to the alternative which looks like liquidation then everyone is knackered.
Yes unfortunately in situations like this the staff on the 'shop floor' are usually the biggest casualties. Hopefully when the takeover happens the airline will see some stability and any job losses will be at a minimum as every time I've flown with Flybe the staff have always been great!
I noticed your reply to this Jerry on Twitter. They don't seem to be on the ball when it comes to replying to people on there. I often see questions getting asked to their twitter handle and never see any response. If they are going to advertise a flight then it might be good that they got the right days!

They can be a bit hit and miss with answers. I imagine it's probably because 1 person handles the account and has another job as well.I noticed your reply to this Jerry on Twitter. If i remember correctly these routes weren't loaded up when the rest of the summer came out. It is possible that the E-jet base is under review and September is the time it would change to Q400 if they are going to do it but the problem i see is that Rome, Venice and Verona finish on the 7/9/19, Munich 6/9/19 but Milan doesn't finish till 28/9/19. It is odd. This is the current utilisation for Summer 2019.It's weird that CWL has seen such a reduction and other airports are not, maybe they were in plan before the sale but it seems unlikely as they all had great loads. The only problem is their isn't another airline to fill the routes with the correct size planes which Flybe had. The German routes could be picked up by BMI but with BRS so close it makes it unlikely.
