Very honest and well articulated.

The thing that really gets my blood boiling is our MP's and Councillors are supposed to back sustainability, economic growth and more jobs. Even more so in these current times. They are going against it because they are thinking about their nicely paid £120k+ (expenses included) wage [MPS] and there own political careers by openly being against the new terminal to suit a small % of NIMBYS and Green's (who you cannot for the life of anyone, have a debate about the fact Leeds needs to sort out it's piss poor road and transport infrastructure or Supermarkets need to, very quickly act, to reduce their plastic consumption). All in favour of them being re-elected. They should be tackling the real issues in Leeds. Not going for an easy target.

my support is in. The MP's and councillors should be made to explain their actions in regards to jobs, economic growth, investment of £150m in an environmentally friendly new terminal, the likes we don't really have in this country. They should not be allowed to get away with denouncing LBA's development without being scrutinised.

The problem is, there is nobody to scrutinise it at all - council's seem answerable to nobody and councillors with anti aviation agendas, sympathetic to Extinction Rebellion and the rest are infiltrating plans panels across the country . Only an appeal by LBA, resulting in a court battle ,will lead to the actions of the council coming under scrutiny. Let's hope that if this is rejected, that's exactly what happens.

And yet they continue to dig roads up around the city and put in pointless cycle lanes whilst ignoring the really problem. There is a new mayor for West Yorkshire next year. Hopefully she or he will have a backbone to really start unlocking the real potential of West Yorkshire. They can be held accountable next year. Don't vote for any of the big 3 parties at the ballot box. Vote for independent or someone else. I am going to email our councillor find out which side of the fence he is currently sat on. And also express my disgust at his parties handling of the crises.

Not for the first time I am getting a lot of grief from a guy who lives in cloud cuckoo land and posts on the Leeds Bradford Airport Enthusiast LBA-EGNM group on Facebook. If anyone on here is a member on there, some support would be good.

Where? Who? What? When? I'm always up for putting cuckoo land owners in their boxes.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
