Ironically many people don't even realise the airport operates 24H Some have said they don't want flights around the clock but they already operate around the clock.
These key points that are been raised on here are what need to be explained in more detail to the panel by someone off here!

Is there no one else off here thats able to represent this forum? i would do it but you probably would not expect it but im terrified talking to a large group of people esp those that i do not know, i would need to make notes before hand and i would be reading off a script really. Plans for a multi-million pound rebuild of Leeds Bradford Airport should be approved by Leeds City Council decision-makers, a report by the authority’s planning experts has recommended.
That it will result in an increase to 17 departures by 2032 (7 million pax) between 0600 and 0700 compared to around 6 otherwise, but only an additional 1 movement at night. In terms of noise nuisance the increase will be negligible especially as the airport will fund secondary glazing for homes within the noise contour and costs will not be capped, unlike other airports. Noise will diminish further in future as newer, quieter aircraft are introduced. Basically, it says it's not a major issue in itself and does point out it only brings LBA in line with other airports.
I picked that up too when I read it (skimmed through) and if it helps I don't think anyone is going to argue.

This is the corresponding article in the Wharfedale. In this article they quote the correct figure of 1600 votes for approval.
