Probably SOP's by now....Give it a coat of looking at, just to say we have, then go to Manchester....do not pass go and do not collect FOD in your donks!!And surprise, surprise the TUi from Corfu today has just gone around and going straight to Manchester
Fiat tyre? Did it burst a tyre on landing then? That would certainly have affected things when trying to stop on a 100% wet runway? I can't see it bursting a tyre running into soft ground. You will have parked on stand 21B as that stand requires towing on.
I’ve been watching the goings on with the aircraft as they had quite a few engineers working on it during the days I was about. As you say it looks cleaner I think they’ve also replaced one of the tyres as I was told one was still flat and needed replacing. Overall it looks like they’re making progress.
I don’t know if it burst on landing I was just told this by a friend who took photos of the aircraft on stand and there was a spare tyre sat next to the plane presumably waiting to be installed by engineers.Fiat tyre? Place your bets now, LBA or MAN? Guess correct and you win a tui hol!!It’s Halloween so the crews will be wanting to get back home early to be with their kids so definitely going to Manchester!
So will it end up being a Treat with TUI'n a day or will we be missing a Trick with diverts to MAN!! I am sure in my younger days (a long time ago) we sometimes had 3 x BY B732's on the deck at the same time. Oh how times have changedIt’s Halloween so the crews will be wanting to get back home early to be with their kids so definitely going to Manchester!
It was on stand 19 but was towed yesterday to stand 15.I see the TUi Boeing 737-800, G-TAWD has been moved from stand 21 onto the main apron and is now parked up nose-in on stand 14/15ish
