I can't find what the problem is or was but FR24 shows it scheduled to position to Gatwick tomorrow morning at 08:35 bearing in mind FR24 is not always reliable.

Sorry to change the subject but I’m hearing a lot of worrying things about Fly4 could TUI need to find a replacement AMCI operator next summer? With what’s being said even in the public domain, about crew being pressured into flying into discretion, Crew not being paid for work done and mass resignations including some management.

Maybe, I’m hoping TUI will step in considering they actually own 49% of the company no matter how much they turn to hide it ! Specially when they don’t even bother mentioning it in the reports for shareholders.

well there certainly do appear to be short of flight crew at BHX, EMA flights seem to be operating ok. The airline is part owned by Enter Air & TUI, so i guess the crews at Fly4 are actually paid alot let less than TUIs crews? Does make you wonder why they set them up in the first place, i guess so TUI saved money!!! Thet were due to expand and take on more aircraft for next year?

TUI wont be basing any Freebird, Priviledge Style or BBN aircraft next year, if they need to replace Fly4, it will be Air Explore, Avion, SmartLynx, or Getjet

They want to expand to 20 aircraft in 5 years but with these wages I can’t see much appetite to apply that based on flying all 900 hours ( I was getting paid more at Ryanair )
SCCM with allowances £31,117.18
Captain with allowances £126,895.85
F/O with allowances 72,029.15

They can’t even train new staff because the head of training has left and people keep refusing the job who applied for it !!!

Dissappointing from TUI if true, looks like 1 aircraft removed, Ibiza actually reduces from 6 flights to 5, and Orlando Melbourne reduces from 2 to 1 flight a week

so only 1 flight to the USA a week from Birmingham for summer 2025 :(

Monday sees Orlando Melbourne, and Bodrum dropped.
Tuesday sees Hurghada dropped
Wednesday no change
Thursday see Palma am, Bodrum, Bourgas and Larnaca gone (2 aircraft?)
Friday sees Alicante, Corfu, Reus, Paphos gone (2 aircraft?)
Saturday sees Arrecife & Tenerife dropped
Sunday sees Enfidha, Ibiza, and Rhodes gone.

Is Bodrum Fully Removed?

personally I would like to see Almeria, and Athens return

and new destinations of:-
Greece: - Kalamata, Preveza, Samos
Italy:- Olbia, Palermo
Croatia:- Split

Egypt:- Luxor & Marsa Alam - these are usually only served by TUI in the winter season, so can't see these operating during the summer season

I remember when Thomson/Britannia used to fly the 767 from BHX to LXR.....😞

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
