LHR passengers were connected to trains today after deboarding flight 37 today, passengers were transferred onto operator trains Avanti West Coast & London Northwestern railway for passengers to reach London.

I think that is totally irrelevant because the extra seats available would have gone to LHR pax to clear the backlog

As a general thing the lunchtime flight has more connections than the evening or morning flights
The lunchtime flight is full during summer times, sometimes spring and autumn too. Pretty expected for pax count to drop in winter. Evening service isn’t as popular, 37 is good for returning connections but that about it. It’s the reason why emirates refused to make it a A380 service again

This seems to be an Emirates thing in expanding services in the UK:

start route: lunchtime service
add 2nd frequency: evening service
add 3rd frequency: morning service

(any 4th frequency would be shadowing the lunchtime service)

they seem to treat Glasgow & Edinburgh as single market with lunchtime at GLA and evening at EDI

Strangely, I would prefer the evening departure as it means a 10:30 ish AM departure from DXB. The terminal always seems more welcoming during the day.

For the people in Birmingham, emirates buses will be showing up soon, this is an all over advert featuring an Airbus A380 tail and a crew member at the rear.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
