Although the departing CEO told me that he was looking forward to seeing LBA become the airport it should have been. Not sure if he meant a superb new airport, or a flying club. (Again).Great points WH.
I don't know what to think anymore I'm staying positive but I am still worried about the Stansted and Bristol decisions. And the fact that the CEO who has led on this leaves 10 days before the decision. I can't get my head around it at all.
I just don't know what to make of it as it gets nearer. Too many conflicting thoughts at the moment...hope and then worry.
Agreed. It never has though and Leeds Council don't care. One more point from my father haha Elland road and leeds utds future plans (hillary bens constituency) which if all go to plan ie new training facilities plus ground improvements and the 5 year plan to bring European football to the city, the away support that would be travelling to elland road may well have to use manchester Airport due to inadequate facilities at LBA and if away fans did use the current airport its not setting a good image for the city.

Thanks WH....for cheering me up. Even in adversity it made me have a giggle.Although the departing CEO told me that he was looking forward to seeing LBA become the airport it should have been. Not sure if he meant a superb new airport, or a flying club. (Again).
But haven't they always said that they are committed to the airport? Is it possible that they have been telling Porkies? Surely not!The Leeds Corn Exchange revamp got council approval today, maybe they’re on a roll!! Like most things, to make progress, you have to break eggs to make an omelette.
Wouldn’t it be nice to show our city off to tourists when the world allows to get all businesses back up and thriving. My word they need it and as a Leeds taxpayer I welcome this development but it needs to be matched by commitment to the airport and make our city fit for purpose in the 21st century
The Council policy says that. The question is whether 13 panel members will follow their council policy, or go against it and bow down to a bunch of bullying fanatics. But haven't they always said that they are committed to the airport? Is it possible that they have been telling Porkies? Surely not!
Best of wishes today, it’s fantastic that whilst it seems that you are stretching your comfort zone, you have stepped forward, you can’t do any more than give it your best.I agree its going to be torture.
