Will probably make me look to other operators ex BRS in the future
I'm waiting for an easyJet refund and am expecting two more flights at the end of this month to be cancelled. So far they are still shown as operating but no-one that I know believes they will.

In fairness to all airlines and tour operators this crisis is of such magnitude, both with the potential threat to the existence of the companies as well as trying to administer an unprecedented number of cancelled flights and holidays with reduced staffing levels, that I'm willing to give them some leeway as long as they don't take the ****.

I think Tui are contacting customers in order of their flights. I’m sure I heard somewhere 4 days prior as of course due to social distancing they probably got much less staff in the office.

(don’t quote me on that) they have said for people to not ring them in relation to cancellations and they will ring the customer. Probably due to phone lines being blocked with people who probably flying in November

Mathers I read that too but I should have flown 4 days ago but have heard nothing.....

Sorry I read your post as this coming Friday not the one which has passed. It must be the fact they are inundated and battering incoming calls despite what they have said to their customers.

normally I would suggest to send them a tweet in social media however there is probably 1,000s of posts daily so probably won’t be effective.

My next flight with TUI is to LPA on 11/7 - I wonder ?
Fingers crossed it'll go ahead!
Have you seen the seat map? As elsewhere someone said that their outbound flight in September to Cyprus is for a 757.

A J41 may well get you there - but it'd require 2 fuel stops and a flight time well in excess of 7 hours. Good luck with that!

I see what you mean - right on the edge but at the moment it still seems to be operating.

• TUI River Cruises sailings travelling up until and including 25 November 2020

• TUI Lakes and Mountain holidays travelling up until and including 30 September 2020

• Marella Cruises sailings on or before 30 July 2020 and all sailings detailed below
o All sailings on Marella Celebration
o Sailings on Marella Discovery 2 from Naples, Asia and the Middle East up to 30 April 2021
o Sailings on Marella Dream from Palma up to 4 May 2021
o Marella Discovery sailings from Jamaica in December 2020 and January 2021
o Marella Explorer 2 sailings from Naples between 5 May 2021 to 20 October 2021

All other holidays are continuing to operate as planned and will be continuously reviewed.

So, as it stands (although sure this could change) am flying on first day of resumed ops ! Hope those a/c well maintained lol but believe it when it happens

Whatever aircraft you will be on you can at least guarantee it would have had a test fight prior to flight as nothing in Cardiff at the moment.

I would imagine that this date is subject to self-isolation rules being relaxed and not extended.

TOM100 I was booked to go to Croatia back in May with TUI. You'll get a travel credit back (or a full refund if you prefer). I went for the credit and will get an additional 20% off more from my next booking. So don't cancel they'll do this for you. You should receive an email in due course, but be patient.

Hi Em - they already cancelled once and I got the 20% - this is the revised booking. So who knows what they will offer now. Looks like first 3 airports are LGW, MAN and BHX. Will FR operate as we are desperate to get away and now looking at Algarve.

Tui only flying from 5 UK airports is interesting.

I assume LGW MAN BHX GLA or EDI plus 1 ?
I'd expect LGW, BHX, MAN, GLA then one of BRS/NCL/DSA.
Be lucky to see TUI at CWL before November.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
