Not my best photo but here’s a photo of Jet2 B738 G-GDFF which has no winglets since it been a while since one was based as there’s only 2 in the fleet without them (other one GDFJ) Taken yesterday

What is a QC rating?

What is a QC rating?

Quota Count. Basically indicating how much noise they make. All aircraft have a QC rating and many airports, including LBA have restrictions on which QC ratings can operate at night.

Likely been in for maintenance then as it’s been in the hanger. Been tail swapped at Malaga with the BHX aircraft.

It was at LBA early last week as I watched it depart from the comfort of my sofa on Blue Sky Aviation's live feed..

Yes they tail swapped it last week but will have likely been in for maintenance at multiflight now that it’s back in service it’s being based elsewhere.

I'm surprised it's still in the fleet really, given its a leased aircraft and not owned by Jet2.

Not sure how aircraft leases work but perhaps the lease has a minimum period to run before you can terminate it without incurring a large penalty?
