Shot last month, T1 airside departures including piers B and C, plus pier B arrivals, and then terminal 3 check in, departures and domestic arrivals from various trips.

Lack of stands really hurting ops currently - not helped by quite a number of AOG aircraft littering the airfield.

Also noticed the NOTAM for WIP on taxiway Lima and stands 6.8 & 10 until late January, what WIP is this?

Also, when can aircraft finally taxi by themselves along the new dual taxiway system without the follow-me?

A number of pavement bay replacements on Lima and stand 10 and a slight re-alignment of Lima to allow Echo to open. Once works conclude Lima will be code C only from stand 4-10.

Lighting tests are still ongoing so until all lighting has been commissioned then the duel taxiway won’t be follow me free.

Still managed to accept Edinburgh's midday Qatar, due to blocked runway.

There does still seem to be some slack in the system, yesterday afternoon there were I think about 2 diverts from Leeds due to fog there (2X 737-800's). But it helps now that T1 is closed, there are more remote stands available (although not a huge increase). For example, I noticed on a live stream today the Kuwait A330-800 is on stand 27.

Hopefully the engineering teams can sort the technical issues out ASAP and get the aircraft all back to their bases.

last month i booked T2 lounge on the manchester airport website priority pass booking portal. i've just tried to book another date next year and there's no availability. i then tried every saturday next year and there's nothing.

I believe until end of March there is nothing available due to an increase usage of the 1903 lounge by Emirates passengers, pending the opening of their new lounge.

TK 32Q TCLPY (AOG since 5th) has limped off this morning.

Allegedly gear down to Sofia (fuel, spanners?). FL210 at 310kts supports this theory.

So MAN is expecting 1.5 million passengers from 19th Dec to 4th Jan. Xmas Day is anticipated to have 35000 passengers with 1500 travelling on Emirates to Dubai and beyond.

Emirates move 1500 passengers from MAN to Dubai every day. Seems a bit of sloppy reporting.

What is meant that on Christmas day is the Emirates pax load are equal to a normal day.
The last couple of weeks the movements in general are way up and infact Ryanair are at
summer levels as are Easyjet and Jet2 are looking good with only Tuesday and Wednesday
being quiet and of course Ryanair extra 32K seats figures don`t kick in until 19th
