Cant see why they wouldn't return?

However, it is likely to just be the basic schedules loaded tonight, extra flights/new routes are usually released in stages over the next few months.

I hope they do return, I have heard that there loads have been very good throughout winter

I would very much like them to expand their operations from LBA as I'm sure they would make whatever routes they chose work. Very surprised that they haven't done so already unless of course they see operational problems and don't want to risk it.

Lets be honest .... the avaiable expansion space needed to expand their operations has being taken by Monarch and thomson. I know it's only 3 extra aircraft but i think the airport is nearly at full overnighting. Not only this with winter 2013/14 probably being speculated and talked about, i hazard a guess won't be long before we see BA night stop too. Also an Easyjet like operation is not just going to base one aircraft they'd probably start with 2 if not more aircraft.

You've also got to look at the airport it's self. Winter is 'off peak' so the airport is not functioning at full capacity. In summer esepcially with EZY departure times at 0600-0700 and 12-1500 the airport is busy very busy, and not only this suffers from a lack of paralell taxiway from 14 end. So EZY are not going to risk such a large operation (unless they are going to offer like 0500-0630 departures and later earlier times) until LBA actually start to buck up their own ideas.

If were being honest ... EZY will only expand slowly at this airport i see another winter route, and then eventually a W pattern routes throughout the off peak lull during the summer season.

LBA-GVA on sale.

Operates DEC-MAR (will presumably be through to April once flights are loaded that far), and remains at 5 weekly.

In at 1130 out at 1200 Daily ex Tue and Wed.

Just noted if you try to book Geneva this weekend it tells you there is no flight on Sunday !! anyone know why ?

Yep that's right. The last Easyjet Geneva-Leeds Sunday service was operated last weekend. The route now only operates 4x weekly on Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturdays until it finishes for the winter season on Saturday, April 14th.

Just to add to what user001 posted earlier regarding the Easyjet winter 2013/14 schedule it looks like some amendments have already been planned as the Monday and Thursday flights will not operate for most of January and early February 2014. Also it looks as the Saturday service will remain as an afternoon flight instead of a lunchtime service.

Mondays = Dec 23rd - Jan 6th & Feb 10th - Feb 24th (Most likely run until Apr 7th)
EZY7345 GVA 10:25 LBA 11:25 / EZY7346 LBA 12:00 GVA 14:50

Thursdays = Dec 26th - Jan 2nd & Feb 6th - Feb 28th (Most likely run until Apr 10th)
EZY7345 GVA 10:25 LBA 11:25 / EZY7346 LBA 12:00 GVA 14:50

Fridays = Dec 20th - Feb 28th (Most likely run until Apr 11th)
EZY7345 GVA 10:25 LBA 11:25 / EZY7346 LBA 12:00 GVA 14:50

Saturday = Dec 14th - Mar 1st (Most likely run until Apr 12th)
EZY7345 GVA 13:25 LBA 14:30 / EZY7346 LBA 15:05 GVA 17:55

Sundays = Dec 15th - Mar 2nd (Most likely run until Mar 30th)
EZY7345 GVA 11:00 LBA 12:00 / EZY7346 LBA 12:30 GVA 15:30

Easyjet using A319, G-EZAV on this last of this winter's EZY7346/7345 Geneva ski flights. Will now have to wait until Saturday, December 14th for the next Easyjet Airbus A319 aircraft to grace the concrete at Leeds/Bradford Airport.

What does the aircraft do the rest of the year? Presumably a beach destination not popular in winter? Seems a shame it can't operate this from Leeds also for a year round presence

Since the flight is operated by an aircraft from an easyJet base, it will fly to the sun from there.

Disappointingly no new routes from LBA announced, Geneva on sale till 19 April 2014.

You can now use mobile boarding passes from Leeds, surprised to see this considering they only operate for 4 months of the year.

The inbound EZY7346 from Geneva has just performed a late go around on approach followed by a circuit back on to finals over Stourton landing at 2nd attempt - Did anyone get the reason off ATC radio?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
