Re: Movements & Heads Up

Are the PK 747 aircraft off the EC banned list now?

I think only 1 or 2 are off the list. The majority of the fleet is still banned.

There have been a couple of visits to MAN in 2011, usually on the ISB run.

It seems Thomas Cook are performing tests over the Welsh coast area of Aberystwyth.

The first aircraft I noticed doing circuits was Condor's D-ABOB operating as CFG674 and now G-FCLB is operating circuits as TCX757F.

The latter callsign seems very appropriate ;)

Some movements for MAN:

Today (31/3/12), Monarch passengers to SSH got a rather large upgrade from the A300, as the ZB684/684 is beong operated by F-HLOV, a B747-400 of Corsair.

Also B747-400 wise,

Qantas will operate a B747-400 from MAN-SYD via BKK, the QF6001 will arrive from LHR at 21:15, QF6052 will depart to SYD at 23:15

Forgot to add, the Qantas B747-400 flight is very very likely to be the last ever QF B744 flight to Europe.

B787 to Manchester 23rd April

Just to inform you all that B787-800 N787BX is visiting LHR and MAN this month.

It arrives as BOE787 on 23rd at 1800, and departs to LHR on 27th April at 0700.

Will be visiting the Monarch hangar sometime in between those dates, and possibly visit Luton too.

Re: Movements & Heads Up

I noticed there was a second Emirates A380 at Manchester yesterday on my visit. Any ideas what it was doing?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
