Virgin expected to position up a B789 on 01st Aug to operate MCO flights during the month. However they are now not showing any B744 departure date or times. I'll check again next week to see if they have been re-instated.

TBH quite surprised Virgin are flying a single 787 out of Manchester. Given they have a similar capacity to the A330, I wonder what the reasoning is?

I'm not sure how Virgin cabin crew are trained, but certainly from a flight crew perspective keeping Manchester to a single type (A330) would simplify things (and therefore reduce costs).

Al Jazeera is the Arabic name for the airline. In Kuwait it’s normally referred to in English as just ‘Jazeera’.

I only had a small window of opportunity to see it but missed it. It was roughly a 3 feet by 4 pane of glass ("window") that is situated about 50 feet from my desk at work, and it just so happens the ops director, deputy ops director and 2 team leaders are seated there so no staring in that direction for extended periods.

Does anyone know why the FR4006 is delayed inbound from Alicante

The aircraft operated inbound as the FR552 which didn't arrive until 0735. This then operated the outbound MAN/ALC flight which should have departed at 0630 but didn't actually leave until 0922.

No specific reason know for the aircraft substitution but that's as much as I can find for you.
