B-HUA just arrived on its 2nd to last ever flight. Still, not long until Cathay send in a passenger aircraft actually carrying passengers:

Republic of congo government B727 9Q-CDC due 12th May at 0935.

As is fairly typical for me atm, I have the long trek to and from Leeds for work, so I will miss/have missed the arrival time...... Any idea how long the beatie will be on the ground as I might nip in on the way home

The B727 is actually in for paint, so will be in for 7-11 days. It is going to be the 2nd B727 for the oil spill response team.

Etihad are running an extra flight to Abu Dhabi tonight. EY8028 is using A330-300 A6-AFF and departs 22:30.

Some of the Euro carriers seem to be doing well.

Ive noticed Lufthansa have been using the A319/A320 on some Dusseldorf flights instead of the CRJ900, Brussels Airlines are using the A319 on a lot of flights instead of the Avro100, SAS using A321's on the Copenhagen run instead of A319/A320 and TAP using a lot of A320's instead of A319's.

If all these upgrades are full, then it all helps the passenger figures, which is expected to be about 21.3m rolling total this year.

Euro Atlantic B767-300 is currently working for Monarch at MAN.

We also have 2 Travel Service B737's in. One operating ABZ-TFS which operates 1 way weekly for a fuel stop due to the ABZ runway being too short, and on operating for TCX.

IL76 RA76503 is stopping over at MAN tomorrow. Arrives as VDA7916 at 1400, departs 1700 with same flight number.

I'm over in Manchester "tomorrow", shame I read your post a couple of days late. (been busy sorry!)

1330 will see United Arab Air Force A330 MRTT reg number 1301 pass through Manchester on its way to California again.

Pitty in a strange way, we now pretty much have a scheduled service to the west coast USA, but one passengers will not know even takes place, let alone be able to book on!

Been quite a few one off movements lately.

We have had 3 BA citiflyer E190's based doing some charter work. That were G-LCYL/P/R. G-LCYM and G-LCYO have also passed through today

Europe Airpost have had 2 B737's in and out, Titan B767 G-POWD operating for TCX and others.

Evelop A320 CS-? is also due into MAN today.

En-route to MAN now is TF-AMU Saudia B747-400F to run a cargo flight to TIF. There will also be another Saudia Cargo next Saturday. This means today, we have had 3 flights to Saudi Arabia.

Tonight will see a HiFly A310 position in to operate for Thomas Cook, no reg known yet.

Also some time this week the UAE Air Force A330 will make a stop on its return from California.

Hifly A310 CS-TEX has positioned up from BHX to operate a TCX flight to Dalaman.

Citijet RJ85 EI-RJC has arrived for an unknown reason.

Not sure if anyones interested but TCX have a Transavia and Neos B737 working for them from Manchester this afternoon.

Thomas Cook seems to have had all manner of problems over the past week with aircraft and crews from other airlines subbed regularly. Passengers on two flights from Bristol were delayed 36 hours and on another flight from BRS a 148-seat aircraft was subbed for a TCX A 321 leading to over 60 passengers being left on the ground and bussed to Gatwick where they left over 12 hours later.

It must all be costing the company a small fortune.

Air France E190 F-HBLA ran a charter to Alicante today. Not sure who it was for.

Saudia Cargo B747-200 EK-74799 arrived just before 8pm today and will depart at 9pm. Been a while since we have had a B747 classic through MAN.

Also means second sunday in a row where there have been 3 flights to Saudi Arabia.

Worth noting flynas used an A330-200 CS-TFZ today instead of the usual A330-300.

Air France E190 F-HBLA ran a charter to Alicante today. Not sure who it was for.

Since this post, Air France ran a 2nd return charter to Alicante on Saturday, and today, F-HBLF is running yet another charter to Alicante, positioning in at 1600, departing at 16:40, then returning late tonight.

Still no idea who these charters are for.

Republic of Moldova Learjet 60 Z3-MKD came in last night, and will depart on Wednesday.

Delta will use a B767-400 tomorrow.

Saudia will run some extra Hajj flights in September with the B777-300.

Finnair used A319 OH-LVD on one of todays flights due to higher than expected loads.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
