All of the ports are experiencing severe problems due to a mixture of different things. Weather, anticipation of Brexit and issues regarding empty shipping containers have caused several shipping lines to miss out stops in the UK. Uncertainty over a deal is at the forefront of the main players which does not help. It has been very interesting to see the different freighter operations all of a sudden making regular trips into BHX.

I can see that the uncertainty will only cause more and more companies to possibly regret using JIT (just in time) arrangements for their supply chain.

Having read that approximately 30% of Airline services are not operating still any charter companies will be rubbing their hands with the increase in business. It does not help the situation when shipping lines have increased their rates by so much whilst not being able to offer a service which compares to what is being charged for. Increased transit times and service issues are very difficult to explain to clients when the prices have risen as much as they have.

Personally I can see a very rough couple of months ahead in the Forwarding industry.

Twice daily Jota BAe 146 to/from Ostend to support the automotive supply chains.

I have noticed we have a Bin air SWM operating for a couple of weeks now Bin101/102 from FRA & onto DUB this is in addition to the S340 & Atr
are they all operating for same company?

Now you mention it, I remember that service too. Was there not also a regular B727 cargo service? Sabre springs to mind, but I may be confusing that with a pax operator.

It's not very well known but DHL operated a flight BHX-SEN that went on to BRU in the 1980s

G-JMCL 737 is due in from Vilnius later today (according to fr24) it’s a regular visitor but has not been here this year & I assume it’s been away for maintenance
also I notice that fr24 has not been showing the zimex ATR freight flights recently

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
