As of December Avanti West Coast are increasing their Liverpool to London rail service. When this happens one of the London services per hour will call at Liverpool South Parkway . This station is for the airport link, whilst I don't know the stopping pattern, the new service will provide more travel options for passengers to reach Liverpool Airport .

i thought there was an issue with lengthy trains stopping on the bridge....

edit. i have read elsewhere that Avanti will use class 807 stock which do fit the platform lengths at LPY

The latest rail announcements for the North will seemingly bring no benefits for passengers travel to Liverpool Airport. Surface transport needs an upgrade to the airport either rail or tram, certainly separate from congested roads . We do not need another station for Manchester Airport, when other northern airports namely LPL and LBA need improvements more urgently. So a big miss today, albeit nothing seems due to happen for years.

The Transport for Wales rail service from Llandudno to Liverpool via Liverpool South Parkway, started a couple of weeks ago....finally. its a handy new link for North Wales passengers to reach the airport easily by train. The service is hourly.

Hi, just wanted to ask, im not on X or FB, or any SM , but if I see an article in a newspaper or something like that, how does this work to include in a post ? Also i can not find the section on individual airlines anymore ? Some articles are not about just one airport and ar much broader than that ?

New express bus link from St Helens to Liverpool Airport, limited stops. Number X3 , starts early September. The airport is connected to St Helens already by bus 89, standard stopping service. This new route will be much faster.
