Oh dear!

They really need to look at how much they are stretching their current fleet. This is surely no way to run an airline, especially one that is needing to rebuild a reputation from Mk1. They either need to re-lease something or delay route launches until they have some spare aircraft. Interestingly the Marathon E175 was at MAN when I returned from holiday on 24Sep which as far as I was aware was post lease. Not sure what that’s up to these days! Whilst I don’t want us to lose our LHR link, sadly we are, so why not end that early and help create some slack - especially as it is performing badly. They clearly need to do something and fast!

I know - you really couldn’t write this stuff could you. The longer this all goes on the more I believe they are making exactly the same mistakes as Mk1. Unless they are purely holding out to make a killing from any LHR slot sales. But their reputation seems to be becoming more and more tarnished by the day. Seems to be a lot different to my personal great experience of them on LBA-BHD-LBA at the end of June. Would have had a couple of LHR bookings too this month had they still been operating. Shambles is the immediate word that springs to mind

Does this company deserve to survive?
I’m not sure if they deserve to collapse as such however I do think if they keep performing like they’re currently doing they should leave the BHD route to Aer Lingus who are reliable as @oldendays has mentioned. It’s the customers at the end of the day that will lose confidence in them and will stop using them.

I’d rather them add different routes such as NQY, AMS Ect.

Is that some sort of joke flybe starting up a NCL-LHR sevice! Unbelievable!
Mindu i am interested to see how it goes, if for some bizarre reason it was successful then questions need to be asked about why our service with no competition was unsuccessful!
With correct marketing/advertising and codeshare the LBA route would of been the far superior route due to bigger population, leeds as a whole a wealthier city, more buisness and finance and no competition. Crazy!

I said on the NCL Flybe thread that I don’t think it will last long. Mainly a slot sitter.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
