Certainly doesnt stand for Fly Belfast Early just at the moment does it!! I for one was really pleased to see BE initially make a return to LBA earlier this year, especially with the introduction of LHR. However things just seem to be going from bad to worse so this is all only damaging the airline and the airports. EI particularly must currently have a very wide grin on their face. It was always said we ended up with too much capacity on BHD/BFS with the 3 airlines. Definitely time to just have 2 reliable ones me thinks as BE clearly not interested in looking at other LBA routes despite any previous hope's and wishes

Shocking service from BE these last couple of days.. not sure why LBA is the one getting cancelled all the time. Id be happy if they left the airport / tried AMS/NQY instead & left BHD to EI with a forth daily service / EZY increasing. At this rate id be more happier with Eastern jumping on it haha

The T&A right on the ball then! Next they will be reporting that Capital Airlines have ceased operations or that Bradford City have reached the Capital One Cup Final and knocked Chelsea out of the FA Cup. They might even report that work is about to start on the Greengates junction. How on earth do these guys warrant earning a living - it completely beggars belief

Same group.
Wharfedale will print anything they can get their hands on about LBA, as long as it's negative. They have been anti LBA as long as I can remember. When the Support Group first got going in the 80s we had a right go at their 'journalist' ( in the loosest sense of the word) at a meeting, following a totally negative report that might well have been written by LACAN ( the GALBA of the 70s to 90s.).

Just when you thought Flybe was getting it's act together they spring up this surprise.
The Leeds/Bradford - Belfast City route is been reduced to 1x daily service along with flights to Manchester & East Midlands, whilst the its Belfast City to Southampton & Glasgow routes are suspended all due to late aircraft deliveries.

I don’t even know why they bother anymore. What gets me is that they’re still able to start new routes from other airports yet their current routes seem to face the chop.

They shouldn’t be adding any new routes or increasing frequency’s until they have the adequate planes that’s needed.

@Len Fish I tend to agree with you there. COVID finally put an end to Mk1 and now all this economic uncertainty could be having a similar effect on Mk2. That said, they could actually be being sensible in cutting back on current capacity to genuinely stabilise things. However there is often no smoke without fire so we shall just wait and see. As LBA4EVER says probably EI and U2 the main beneficiaries here

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 2nd time

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
