A few more nostalgic BHX photos from me (I hope you're not getting bored).

Firstly Air France Concorde F-BTSC (BHX's first Concorde?)
For this, we were stood in a field that is now part of the terminal complex. Sorry about the quality, I think I was using a Zenith E with a Chinon 90-190 zoom lens. Why I chose B&W film, I have no idea

Note also, the Transavia Holland B737-200 and the Caravelle (airline not known) to the left of the picture.

A couple of shots of a TAP B707 from the old terminal. I assume this was operating holiday charters to Portugal.

And a Finnair DC-9-10/15, possibly operating for BMA

Kevin....wow. The memories. Thank you.

Great photos. The Cyprus Airways A310 arriving was always exciting!

Thanks guys. I've enjoyed sharing them and have many more if you are interested. No point them being sat in a photo album in a cupboard when there are people here who would enjoy them (I have no problem if you want to keep personal copies, but please respect my copyright with regard to posting elsewhere).

Kevin, I think the Caravelle is Air Charter if I remember correctly (age culd be a problem here)

I think you are right. The tail logo matches this which I found on a web search

Makes me wonder if the 737 and Caravelle were there to return passengers who had booked Concorde one way (either CDG-BHX or BHX-CDG).

Great images, I was there for the AF Concorde standing down the Aeroclub end with a few regulars, an interesting conversation cropped up when the SST taxi'd down the western apron to the end stand, and parked at a diagnal angle, I was told the reason for this was the airport at the time did not have a SST tow bar, so she had to park in a way so she could depart under her own power, I understand they kept the next stand clear so she could swing round on departure.

No, BA186/187 was to EWR...
I’m 100% sure on this. This was back in the days when it went via GLA on 3 or 4 days per week on the 763.

Not sure about what happened when it was a daily 752 or when the flight numbers went mental and I couldn’t even remember YYZ! That could well have been JFK but still think it was EWR!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
