I remember that walk. Always seem to have just missed something more exotic (a Vanguard maybe) but hey ho their was always tomorrow.Superb brings back memories of when I'd walk along the Coventry Rd to Elmdon to see the latest arrivals and it would just be a BEA Viscount or if it was busy two.
No not Harry. He was one of the warehouse supervisors who transferred to the new cargo centre when it opened. Certain followers on this site know his name (some knew him when he was still with us)! So many of the old hands have gone and those who are left would not recognise the place.Harry by any chance ?

Didn't have the quantity but i am not sure my interestCricky , can go back to the Jurassic era of the likes of Euravia ( then Britannia), Air Spain, Spantax with the Coronado, British Eagle, Bavarian, Court Line and I vaguely remember Air Algeria operating Caravelles not to mention Derby Airways Dc3s to Jersey and BMA Argonoughts.
