Ryanair summer 2021 schedule – as is on sale now, January 28th 2021.

Ryanair updated there Summer 2021 schedule overnight. There LBA operation is still currently showing 2x based aircraft. Alicante, Palma, Gdansk, Krakow & Warsaw gain an extra weekly rotation whilst the Bratislava, Vilnius and Riga routes revert to been operated year round once again.

Still looks like the spare capacity as the 2nd based aircraft sits around for long periods.

Well that's what they were doing for Summer 2020 until the MAX was grounded and then so was aviation by Covid..

The Max has more seats as washroom facilities are tiny .... think they have managed to squeeze an extra row of seats in ?

Ryanair Summer 2021 Leeds/Bradford schedule update.

As promised.

Sadly it looks like the Leeds/Bradford to Riga route has been dropped whilst a lot of other routes have had either their frequency reduced (March to June) or have no flights operating until May or June due to the on-going Covid-19 situation

It’s also now looking like we might be going back to a 1+ based Ryanair Boeing 737-800 aircraft operation. The 2nd based aircraft is currently only scheduled to operate 3+ times week: Vilnius (Mon & Fri) & Bratislava (Sat), so it’s my betting that these flights will be switched to be operated by other away based Ryanair aircraft or even Buzz.

Im not sure if anyone is aware of this but through speaking to friends i know in spain, the spanish king felipe has clearly stated that tourists will only be able to enter mainland spain and the islands once 70% of their population is vaccinated which will take until late summer into autumn, also virus rates over there are once again on the rise with a national lockdown expected. so im afraid to say it does not look good for ryanair and others .

Im not sure if anyone is aware of this but through speaking to friends i know in spain, the spanish king felipe has clearly stated that tourists will only be able to enter mainland spain and the islands once 70% of their population is vaccinated which will take until late summer into autumn, also virus rates over there are once again on the rise with a national lockdown expected. so im afraid to say it does not look good for ryanair and others .

Again data is questionable. Rates of what exactly? Misleading “positive” tests which are producing a high false positive rate.

It’s also winter - main season for respiratory viruses. You don't hear on the news about "NHS stretched due to flu" why? Because it's all hidden under the same umbrella as Covid. I’m comfortable in saying that if they were willing and allowing tourism in summer 20, with no vaccine and no clear policy, then they’ll allow a tourism season for summer 21 when we have a vaccine going round and vaccinating the most vulnerable (ie the 88% of mortality and hospitalisations).
