I’m with you on that. They serve ALC the most out of all the routes from LBA so is a surprise. Yes demand is lower than usual but I don’t think that would be a reason to cut it all together as a lot of UK airports have suffered the same but still have RYR on the route. And many UK airports have more than 1 carrier doing ALC on a daily during this. So doesn’t add up to me.There has to be something else going on behind the scenes regarding the alicante route, when I've flown this route many times the aircraft is always 100percent full and the onboard sales never stop. Benidorm where most travel to is the largest holiday resort in europe and the 2nd largest in the world so will always be there, plus of course you have the thousands of ex pat properties in that area stretching from south of valencia right down to the murcia area which would be the catchment area for ALC airport.
No way would the ryanairs LBA to ALC route go from 5,6 flights a week to nada, there surely is another reason.
Always used this service that overall was good.
