Remember Before COVID TK did Antalya. Its on Ian’s blog website thingme

Regards to how big connection is.I meant they have big connection in gatherings at events and stuff

Turkish Airlines served Antalya with a late night service during summer 2022, but it didnt last to long, and all the flights were then operated by AnadoluJet not Turkish Arlines, they are more interested now in getting passengers to transit through Istanbul, rather than catering for IT/leisure traffic.

The thing about Turkish airlines is they are quick to adjust schedules &/or aircraft types depending on demand.
Unfortunately due to issues in Iran etc demand will be lower currently but twice daily to Istanbul is still good

The 3rd daily flight now cancelled

I know you enjoy a soundbite Ian but can we be a little less dramatic and include some context.

Early June and now = 10x Weekly (yes this is pants)
16th June = 13x Weeky
24th June = 14x Weeky
29th June = 16x Weeky (re-introduction of 3rd daily on 2 days)
6th July = 18x Weekly
13th July = 21x Weekly (3x daily throughout summer)

It seems to then cut back to 18x weekly in Sept and down to 14x weekly in winter...

So yes, they have reduced the length of the season they originally planned for 3x daily, but there are 3rd daily flights running throughout June-Oct!!! so far from cancelled!

Sorry - Turkish plans changing quickly, my original post should have read 3rd flight cancelled for part of the Summer. But I understand this may change again as demand isnt great.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
