World Routes 2021: event details and how to become sponsor | Milan Airports
In 2021 Milan will host World Routes, the most important event in the air transport industry, organized by Informa *, which brings together airports, airlines and tourism bureaus around the world every year.www.milanairports.com
I wonder if BHX will be attending? Since we lost our Milan connection it’s not like they can fly directly there is it lol!
Please tell me that’s a joke? I’m struggling to see the funny side!!BHX usually attend the World Routes meeting and have a reputation of serving curry to guests to their stand.

No, it's not a joke, it's meant to encourage airline reps to visit the BHX stand (Birmingham having a strong association with Indian food). I've seen photos posted on previous World Routes reports and I think on the official Birmingham Airport website. Please tell me that’s a joke? I’m struggling to see the funny side!!
Im actually shocked! Yes give them curry, that will give them the true taste of Birmingham! How stupid of me to think Birmingham’s brand could be of anything more at an international trade fair! I hope it came with branded napkins with the slogan ‘more canals than Venice’. That will get the airlines lining up!!No, it's not a joke, it's meant to encourage airline reps to visit the BHX stand (Birmingham having a strong association with Indian food). It’s the laziest form of marketing... playing into the stereotypical image of Birmingham, it really won’t get people engaged. Yes cultural diversity is a strength for the city and yes you can get a decent curry here but there is so much more on offer! Challenge perceptions, open people’s eyes & minds to what’s happening in Birmingham, get people excited & wanting to be apart of it & not just for a free sample of curry. It’s such a dated Birmingham cliche!Personally, I think it's an excellent idea. The smell of food will attract visitors from several stands away and most people like free food. Balti is also synonymous with Birmingham. Yes, also have facts and photos of Birmingham and the regions, but they will only be seen by people already visiting the BHX stand.

Venice is not Birmingham, prettier and unique. Our canals are industrial relics in comparison with no tourist offerings to attract anyone and I bet it's as dirty as it was when I was at school. As for curry, I find it vile stuff, smelly and unhealthy but I drift again off topic.
That's true, Birmingham is not sinking!Okay Brum X, I respect your position, but it is mine that Venice is no comparison to Birmingham.
