Great pictures Jerry. Good to see you managed to take some shots of your homeland in the background.
Yep it is a nice background! Was a bit weird weather wise, rained a bit on and off. I was only able to catch the 1 A321. Apart from the flies it was an enjoyable afternoon.

The weather was somewhat unpredictable. As I said in my previous post I was watching football, with BRS no more than seven miles to the west and we had no rain, yet on my way home when listening to the local radio sports news a live report from Bath Rugby's match at The Rec in Bath said it was raining. Bath Rec is less than ten miles to the east from where I was watching the football.

On clear days in 'normal times' Winters Lane can be an excellent vantage point not only for BRS but for CWL as well. Large BA aircraft sometimes fly almost overhead on their into BAMC. In the past I've seen a KLM Cityhopper pass almost over my house en route to BRS with another in view at a higher level on its way to CWL.

The area around Bristol also sees plenty of condensation trails from aircraft flying between London/Northern Europe (Germany, France, Netherlands etc) and North America, although London flights have often descended a bit or not climbed sufficiently high and the con trails are no longer evident.

The fact that BRS is over 600 feet AMSL and the estuary only a few miles away below makes the site particularly popular for taking pictures of landing or departing aircraft.

I saw a number of inbounds including an easyJet A321. There have been two 321s based in recent weeks - not sure if there still are.
The 2x based A321Neos have been based all of 2021, looks like they are here to stay!

Currently the easyJet fleet based at BRS is up to 19x aircraft:
A319 - 6
A320 - 11
A321 - 2

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
