Amsterdam - Leeds must be doing good for both KLM and Jet2, as On selected dates Jet2 have scheduled the B737-800 on to the route.
If this is the case then excellent news. Are the use of the 800s due to unavailable 300s? Or is it perhaps a test the water to see if it might support an 800 permananently, or even a reaction to KLM increasing capacity? Any which way you are right LBAspotter that this points to a very successful route

To try and put the KLM figures into perspective between now and Monday 3rd, according to GDS, here we go:
Outbound wise, LBA to AMS, Thu to Sun inc there are only the odd flights Almost full but relatively good loads overall. However on MON 03Sep there are only 8 seats available in total over all three legs. Inbound fairs much better as follows: Thu 30th has 6 seats available over 3 legs. Fri 31st is 4 over 3 legs. Sat 1st all 3 flights are full. Sun 2nd has 2 available over 3 legs. MON 3rd is 3 over 3 legs. That makes happy reading from where I am sat

How many flights a week does KLM operate on LBA-AMS? According to Wiki Jet2 also operates from LBA to AMS. If so, how many flights a week?

KLM currently operate 3x daily E190 flights from LBA to AMS (21x flights weekly) until November.
From November it drops to 20x E190 flights per week, (3x daily flights Mo-Fr & Su, 2x daily on Sa). This continues through until the schedule runs out next July. Which if the case means a drop of 1x Saturday service.

Jet2 operate 4x weekly flights from LBA-AMS from late June through to early September (Mo, Th, Fr, Su).
This then increases to 6x weekly during mid-Sep (Mo-Fr & Su)
It increases again to 9x weekly through to the end of Oct (2x Mo, 1x Tu,We,Th, 2x Fr & Su)
From November it becomes 8x weekly with only 1x flight per day on the Sunday through to Dec.
From Jan it becomes 6x weekly until mid-Feb when it increases to 8x weekly again.
The flights are normally on the B733, with B738s operating 2-3 flights per week usually Mo/Fr/Su.

Hope that makes sense!

It certainly makes sense and I'm very grateful for the information.

Boeing 737-800 has being scheduled to operate the LS205/206 LBA-AMS-LBA rotation on 2+ days per week for most of winter 2018/19 season starting from November running until end of March. Its easy to work out as those flights have 45 min turn around at AMS and are listed as follows.

Fridays
LS205 = LBA 16:30 AMS 18:45 / LS206 = AMS 19:30 LBA 19:45
Sundays
LS205 = LBA 18:00 AMS 20:15 / LS206 = AMS 21:00 LBA 21:15

All other Jet2's Leeds - Amsterdam flights remain scheduled to be operated by Boeing 737-300's.

KLM Website now showing no flights from LBA for Xmas Day and reduced flights on Xmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Eve Nd New Years Day.

Not sure on the loads. This could be a result of the wider movements limit at Schipol meaning they are deliberately operating just mainline routes from the UK hence freeing up spare movements/slots at a more lucrative day of op. I am sure there are a combination of reasons for the decision

I must admit that when I saw that someone had posted on this thread, my first though was 'oh god, not another service gone!! Thankfully not. It will be nice to see ER175's regularly again.

Well, that makes a mockery of my itinerary for the trip I booked just over 2 weeks ago. In fact, i don't think I have flown on a EM7. :)

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
