Birmingham: (BHX) - Expected Movements & Heads Up

Just keeping a hopeful but not very expectant eye out for any hints that the England team will use BHX for their flight to Slovenia. Their other airport of choice tends to be LTN which they used to go to the World Cup.

G-TUIA just arrived from Newcastle under a scheduled flight number. Is it going to be operating a flight or is it just in for parking/maintenance?

Tomorrows United is showing as N14120 which is in the Star Alliance livery. Early days still and very much subject to change.

M-HPIN which I keep forgetting is the successor to PC-12 M-HARP made another visit today. E135 Legacy G-SUGR spent the day parked up and there were at least two occasions where OXF's PA34s circled over the suburbs but I don't know if they visited the airport.

EI-FIM is operating the morning Ryanair flight from Dublin. Almost certainly its first visit.

Denim Air F100 PH-MJP arrived a little earlier inbound from Lourdes.

PH-MJP is operating a return charter to Innsbruck.
Our Waterford flights are now being operated by OO-VLI. The picture on FR24 shows it in Cityjet livery but I know their pictures aren't so reliable (YL-LCL is still shown in Corendon colours and OO-VLJ in all-White).

N191AA operating AA131 just flew over our house as it unusually departed in a SW direction after lifting off Runway 33.

Usually United and American head north over Liverpool and across Northern Ireland but I've noticed occasionally they head south and join the flow heading over South Wales. I guess winds over the Atlantic are taken into account when planning the route?

Probably.
The vast majority of flights to destinations like south Ireland, Spain and the Canaries bank round to the southwest after departing RWY33 which takes them over my house, and sometimes the Thomson Dreamliners to the Caribbean fly over too. But other periods in the day, mostly in the afternoon, some of these flights will go SE after leaving RWY33, and AA and UA have done that before but this is the first time I've seen either of those head SW.
The England team didn't use BHX this time. Anyone know which airport they did use?

Today's Vueling flight is being operated by EC-MAH which I believe is the first Vueling Sharklet -equipped plane to visit BHX.

PH-MJP is back at BHX. I forgot to put it in my roundup, but it has night-stopped after arriving at 20:27 yesterday from Clermont-Ferrand.

Heading up the Meadway around 12:45 I saw an RAF Hercules climbing off RWY33 it madd a very sharp left turn and headed west. It was quite an awesome sight.

Does anyone know if it was departing BHX or just doing an approach and go around?
