Apparently Correndon Airlines will be operating an Antalya flight on Friday evenings throughout the summer.

There was a discussion a while back about having wide bodies on the ground at the same time. Tonight we have a DHL 763 inside MAEL, a West Atlantic 762 parked outside MAEL, the tech Air India 787 on stand 85C, a Thomson 787 parked up next to it on 86C and thanks to PIA running late we'll see two 77W's, Emirates and PIA, on stand alongside tonight's Air India 787.

2x 767's
3x 787's
2x 77W's

It's a shame Air Explore are now doing the MOD flights or we'd have had one of the Hi Fly A310/330/340's too.

As it's the school holidays next week Swiss have used A320's today and will be using A321's over the next two weekends, I haven't checked during the week. Lufthansa have also used A320's and A321's from Munich as well as FRA and it looks as though there are a few more to come.

Turkish Airlines A321 TC-JSJ, which is in the Borussia Dortmund livery, was also in this morning, I managed to just miss it.

I forgot to add Swiss have also added extra morning flights, also A321.

Fly Niki will be operating a charter to Salzburg today which should be an A321 positioning up from LGW this morning.

Air France A320 F-HEPD is due just after 13:00. This has the 80th anniversary titles.

Two 739's from Turkish, the second, TC-JYE, is due around 15:00.

PIA are using a 77L today. It's not very often these appear at BHX but AP-BGZ is due around 17:00, delayed from the scheduled 15:15.

PIA seem to be having a 'mare this weekend.

The PK711 used a B77W instead of the B77L and didn't depart MAN until 10pm (only 10 hours late!) last night.

Then, for some reason MAN-ISB last night used a flight code PK772 which is normally CPH-ISB so not sure what that was all about.

Talking of Pakistan, any more news of Air Blue return to the UK ??????

Looking at the Icelandair website and TF-IFU, Hekla Aurora, should be operating tomorrow's (16th) flight.

Subject to change of course.

Lufthansa A321 D-AIRW, which is in the Star Alliance livery, will be stopping the night if anyone is up early enough to catch it in the morning.

Niki will be operating another charter from Salzburg today, it's due at 11:00.

More A321's today and over the weekend from Swiss, Turkish and LH upgrading Munich and Frankfurt.

The Freebird flight from Antalya tonight will be on an A321 rather than the usual A320, it's due at 19:27.

This mornings SAS flight from CPH is being operated by an Estonian Air CRJ-900, ES-ACC, it's due at 09:17.

VT-ANT is operating AIC113/114 again today expected at 16:59.

I don't want to speak too soon but Air India's time keeping seems to have improved in recent months with all the flights I've seen lately on time or even early.

I saw the West Atlantic 767 taxi to the runway this morning then return to the apron.

It did do some test flying this afternoon, I saw it overhead around 14:00ish, so I imagine it'll be off to STN soon.

Good to see plenty of upgrades over the last few days with the likes of Lufthansa, SAS, Turkish etc all using A321's, I wish I'd been able to grab a photo of the Air France A321 in the Skyteam livery this afternoon.

Swiss, amongst others, should be using A321's tomorrow (Sat).

Anyone know why an Aegean from ATH landed tonight? Didnt think the route started for another few days?

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
