I was In work last night and the flight took us by surprise as well.
Judging by the outbound load,100% male,we are assuming it was a work force of some description going home. The flight number suggested it was a charter as well.
It may also have been connected with an exhibition or a sporting event some where, but it was unusual to not have any females on it.
That was our take on it anyway.I will try and find out more if I can!!

Very happy 🙂

Thank you Brummiegem, if I hadn't quickly checked on here after work I'd have missed it :good:

Pics to follow on the AI thread.

Did anyone see the AWACS aircraft doing approach and go arounds this afternoon? I missed it :s_sad

I was working in Walsall just off j7 m6 and saw it fly over! I did wonder if it was heading to BHX

For those that missed her in the week the Star Alliance 787 VT-ANU operated AIC113 ATQ-DEL so will be at BHX later today.

Monarch A330-200 G-EOMA positions in from Manchester tomorrow for decomissioning.

There was an RAF C17 at BHX this morning which I noticed departing whilst at work, a C130 was also in for around an hour this afternoon.

Kuwait Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster II KAF342 arrived not long ago, definitely not something you see every day.

I'm not sure why it's in but there seems to be plenty of photo's of this aircraft out there which suggests it's not new.

My first thought was a Medevac flight on behalf of the UKAF or USAF, I guess this is the most likely scenario given this mornings visitors?

A great photo of last nights arrival, it should be departing again mid morning.

Danish Air Transport MD-83 OY-RUE is currently over Sheffield en route to BHX, a gentleman at Sheldon Country Park informed me that it will become BHX based, I've no idea how long for.

Definitely a nice livery for the photographers.

Having looked on the BHX departure board this morning, it appears that this aircraft will be at BHX for some time operating the flights to Paderborn and Hannover, taking over from Small Planet.

Nice to see some variety.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
