Im visiting the airport tomorrow and with todays Turkish cancelled, we may see an upgrade tomorrow maybe if the flights operate again ??

A330 would be nice (y)

You 'might' be lucky, but I would imagine that just about all of Turkish Airlines routes have huge backlogs. Where they choose to substitute their very limited reserve of larger aircraft is anyone's guess.

Regards

Kevin

I understand that TA are looking at leasing three of Sri Lanka's 4 A350s which are under final construction. Pity they don't have them presently.

A few due in the next hour or so.

Lufthansa A321 D-AISX
Czech Airlines A319 OK-NEP
Iberia A320 EC-KOH
Vueling A320 (ALC) EC-MEA
Air India 787 VT-ANT

Looking out of my front window I have just seen HA-LYT arriving from Budapest. I didn't realise that it wears a pink nose :)

Here it is seen at LPL

16:38 Lufthansa A321 (MUC) D-AIDC
17:00 Lufthansa A321 (FRA) D-AIRS
17:04 Czech Airlines A319 OK-NEP
17:05 Balkan Airlines A321 LZ-BHK
17:42 Air India 787 VT-ANC
17:51 Air Explore 738 (BCN) OM-GEX

Czech is actually OK-NEO.

I don't know whether the aircraft BH Air are using reflect demand. The first flight saw the A330 but the A319 has been used for the last few weeks and today's A321 is on its first visit.

Ooops, typo.

The A330 was used to cover for a tech aircraft, it's operated into several UK airports over the last few weeks.

The A321 is likely to be due to demand as the school holidays are now beginning.

CityJet SSJ100, EI-FWA is on approach from Paderborn. Have they taken over the MOD flights I wonder?

I believe that the Army are ramping up the withdrawal of personnel to Bulford Camp and need RAF A330 MRTT using the surge fleet that Air Tanker have in reserve for such eventualities.

Depending upon service requirements, either RAF liveried or Air Tanker A330's are deployed albeit both are of the same PFI contract the MOD entered into.

A brief visit to the AIR TANKER website should perhaps enlighten folks further save to say that soldiers with full kit and caboodle need significant space and weight carrying capacity.

I am delighted that these Military Airbus flights overfly my home enroute to Brize Norton (y)

I was out this evening and saw two planes fly over within minutes of each other. The first was a Titan A320 and the second looked like a TAP Portugal A319.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
