Very interesting figures. Thank you. Two things strike me: QR are almost level with EK in terms of passengers carried. Also, Orlando figures are low, although June is pre school holidays.

Yes, MCO is in stark contrast to JFK. Interesting that LFs for QR & EY are 10% & 8% respectively higher than EK.
Excellent figures for Gulf Air, CX and the 2 Turkish carriers.
On the negative side, disappointing to see Saudia below 50% and SQ to Singapore only just above. (Just remind me Scottie, does the seats on SQ reflect total seats or only a percentage as some will be for transit pax?)
BG is also low but there have been severe flood problems in that country as I recall and other issues.

Good morning @Land23R. You are quite correct as far as the Ethiopian and Singapore flights are concerned. The information that I received is that ET split the allocation at 50/50 with Brussels but SQ have no division, therefore in theory 100pc of the seats could be available from Singapore could be available for sale to Manchester or Houston.

Thanks Scottie. So the LF for Ethiopian of 72.26% is based on 50% of the available seats but SQ's 56.47% is on 100% of the seats if I've got that right. While we don't know the actual number of passengers flying the full route between Singapore and Houston, it makes SQ's LF more reasonable, while ET's is still not too bad.

Whilst it's perfectly correct that total passengers were down 17.9% on July'19, it's worth pointing out that Terminal pax fell rather less by 14.3%.
Transit pax were 139,229 in July'19 whereas this July were only 6,679. The latter is not surprising and presumably relates to some SQ flights SIN-IAH. However, I can't recall what transit flights were operating 3 years ago to make up over 139,000 - SQ but who else? PIA?

It's been a bit of a busy few days and so I'm afraid that I'm running a little behind with my monthly analysis of July's statistics.

Anyway, let's start with my take on the load-factors.

As the Ethiopian flight operates via Brussels I have split the available seats 50/50.
Singapore I believe have no set allocation of seats between Manchester/Houston or Singapore - therefore I have allocated all seats to Manchester.

Load Factors based on FR24 for frequency and aircraft type plus planespotters.net for seating configuration.
Singapore/Manchester/Singapore flights do not have any specific split between airports Therefore whilst the load-factors might appear low it is possible that the figure might be doubled if the seats were available seats were split 50/50 for each sector.

There was an error in my initial post of the comparison data for 2022 v 2019. A new sheet will be loaded when available.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
