Adding Sibiu,Sucueva and Rome and Added Frequencies to Budapest,Bucharest and Craicova goes to show how interested bhx is in Wizz.Reckon we will have a base by 2027

Maybe they've just analysed some of the stats from LTN and identified areas where postcodes from the Greater Birmingham area feature heavily and decided to add routes to mop up the demand?

Ur right.I know there’s a lot of Bulgarian/Romanian foreigners in and around Edgbaston,Selly oak five ways area.

In acocks green,Yardley and main parts of Sheldon it’s mainly polish.

I know this as there was a mixed bag of foreigners on the 11c to my former workplace.

Ray ur spot on it depends on postcode and location

Let’s see what happens

I'm sure the EU competition department would have something to say about that. A merger would make Ryanair into an unassailable behemoth. Frightening tbh
Yep i can't see that being allowed to happen.

How many aircraft have wizz still got spare but not being currently worked on.

I’m just thinking ahead of like we’re getting this extension done to the Stands this winter and it had me thinking of Wizz jet2 and Pegasus if you like for like situations.

Wizz air have announced its Winter 2027 schedule
Budapest-Not on sale after October 2025
Rome-3 weekly
Craicova -3 weekly
Bucharest -4 weekly
Sibiu-2 weekly
Suceava-3 weekly

All flights are evening and night departures

Remember Ray saying there’s a possibility of a few new routes in the works a few months ago

It's not uncommon for Wizz to put different countries on sale at different times so hopefully BUD will appear in due course.

I'd heard of two but one I thought may have been announced already so, as usual, it's a case of wait and see.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
