Yes, Ryanair Midlands Executive was saying they have a Jobs Fair on Thursday for all positions from Pilots, Cabin crew through to check in staff and engineers. Info from ITV news.

With BHX recent news of Qatar, EK A380 and Saudia Playrion the developers of Airlines Manager have now finally upgraded BHX runway from Cat 7 no 787 other than 787-10 or 777 expect the 777-200 no A350-1000 747 or A380 to a Cat 9 most aircraft expect Concorde and typically when I brought/rearranged all my fleet at bHX it was Cat 7. In real life doesn't BHX have one of the longest runways outside Heathrow and already had a pretty long runway before it was expanded as we have had Concorde and the A380 land before the upgrade

Do it quite frequently (relatives Bournemouth & cruises from Southampton)best route in I've found is pickup the M40 turn off for Oxford A34 and head south towards Southampton you pick up Bournemouth directions before Southampton 2 1/2 hrs on a good day to just outside Bournemouth then it's pot luck.

Maybe these posts should be moved by a moderator to random stuff or something

The Concorde did`t actually use that much runway as they went into Leeds and Liverpool over the years
The rest of that list doesn`t make an awful lot of sense The problem was for A340-600 and A350X and was the taxiway not the runway except at high weight, don`t think any 787 have had problem except maybe 787-10 at full weight. Judging by QTR they are quite flexible with fleet useage as at MAN tend to vary day to day between 787-8 through to 777-300 so would not think anything is a problem as your runway is same as MAN which gets A350-9 and has had A350x non stop SIngapore with a full load.

Couldn't you just use the A34 all the way from Birmingham to Bournemouth I know the A34 forms the Walsall/Birmingham Road going through Great Barr, Aston and Perry Barr up to Lancaster Circus where it merges with the City Ring Road before remerging as the A34 Stratford/Stafford Road. I know as the A34 joins the A41 somewhere near to Solihull and the X51 bus uses the entire A34 from Walsall to Brum

BHX's runway is 10,013 ft (3,052 m), which is similar to Stansted and Manchester and slightly shorter than Gatwick. 10,000ft is considered standard for an intercontinental airport (at least those not much above sea level). BHX's taxiways comply with ICAO standards for curve radii. The A340-600 can't operate, because it's wheel base (nose to main gear) lies outside of the ICAO radii guidelines.
Concorde was a regular visitor prior to the runway extension and was used for the Ryder Cup at The Belfry, when the JFK -LHR route was re-scheduled to JFK - BHX.
In honesty, I think that your Airlines Manager program does not match reality. perhaps, you could contact the developers, but I wouldn't expect a rapid upgrade.

Like all major roads in the UK, it seems to be hit and miss as to whether you get a good journey or not. It seems to be the way of things, that Premier clubs are using air transport to get their teams to the venue on time. I believe they can be penalised if they don't. Although, Bournemouth arrived in Birmingham approx 24 hours before the game. One thing that surprises me about this, is that when I worked for a UK company based in Stockholm, we had an annual trip there. The insurance company would not let all staff fly on the same flight, it had to be split over two flights. Yet, the whole football team seem to fly on one flight.

You could I suppose if you've got all day but why struggle through Birmingham then head out down the A34 south where it joins the M42 and becomes the A3400 single lane most of the way to the bottle neck of Stratford upon Avon down mostly single lane again to the Oxford junction of the M40 to become the A34. Just join the M6/M5/M42 network which encircles Birmingham for the M40

I believe Seasider lives on the east coast up north so his route presumably would be pick up the M1 and exit onto the M42 to join the M40 so his journey from the M1 down to the outskirts of Bournemouth is motorway or dual carriageway all the way.

I don't really know the A34 route outside of the Walsall to Birmingham Section makes sense then with the Motorway the motorways make the A34, A38, A41, A45 and A47 redundant in a way

G-POLX flying around Bentley, Cannock and other areas at 2,000ft eairler Assumed it might have been to help WMP with the Wolves Vs Leeds Game and was making sure there was no trouble if Leeds lost they would have been in the bottom three. Saw the whilst watching Darlo play at around Half three kept doing laps before flying away 5 minutes away

I used to have a regular weekly run from Redditch to Poole and getting past Newbury and then Salisbury was the troublesome parts and then it was a breeze. Only motorway was M27 at the south coast.

Lazy is how I would describe text speak. Rigid teaching of English is what I endured at school and I shall forever be thankful to my English teachers for their instruction in grammar and wordcraft. It has since served me well. And..........this is indeed drifting off topic for which I apologise.

I didn't use Text Speak I Passed English Language mostly because of my creative writing being Autistic my mind can wonder Off but I isn't going to be the best written or proper format peice but the idea will be brilliant. I also type on a phone with Predictive text and makes silly corrections or random capitals. I occasionally shorten words if my phone is being weird.
