W18/19 being loaded and we have Goa increase from fortnightly to 1x weekly (Monday's)

No Phuket or Barbados showing yet and it looks like PUJ and SFB are summer only again.

Potential new route to Kuala Lumpur?

TUI holidays site has an option to select Malaysia, with a bi weekly flight on Wednesdays for W18. When you select the flights, it claims they are 'all gone'. Same for MAN/LGW.

One to watch, as none of the regular scheduled airline has flights available for those dates yet.

If Malaysia happens it looks as if it will be Langkawi as that is now listed in the flight only section, although currently not bookable. Interestingly Cochin, Trivandrum (India), Ngurah Rai (Indonesia), Muscat and Newark have also appeared, as has the return of DWC.

Good news about an increase on Goa but as it stands Phuket looks to be joining the extensive BHX one season wonders list. When the schedule briefly appeared a few weeks back Phuket was listed but starting a month later in mid Dec, I guess there is a glimmer of hope. We really do need another long haul leisure carrier to give some competition.

Barbados sees a second weekly scheduled flight on a Thursday making it 4x weekly with the P&O flights, it appears from Christmas but Orlando operates into mid November this year as does the second weekly Montego Bay. No La Romana at the moment but the cruise schedule is often done a few weeks later, this may fill the Wed gap as it does this year.

Mon - Goa and Cancun
Tue - Montego Bay
Thur - Barbados
Fri - Barbados and Cancun
Sat - Barbados
Sun - Barbados

Boa Vista goes 2x weekly on Sun and Wed.

It will be interesting to see what transpires.

Murcia, Bali, Nice, Ajjacio and a few others have appeared in the flight booking pages for a fair while now with no flights ever being bookable.

Then there were periods where places like Melbourne, FL appeared but then disappeared without flights ever being made possible.

Another 63,800 seats have been added for this winter and next summer, the article also confirms Venice as a new route.

I don't know who is writing these press releases that we're seeing lately but since when has Tenerife been a new route for TUI??? I flew to TFS one January back when they were Britannia???

Anyway,

Holidaymakers looking to visit the Canaries this half term and Christmas will have more flights to choose from. Additional seats will be available for sunseekers looking for a late break to the sun with a new route from Birmingham to Tenerife. More capacity will be opened up over Christmas with Fuerteventura added into the mix from December.

William Pearson, Aviation Director said: “Thomson and First Choice have been long term partners of Birmingham Airport and offer great flight only and holiday packages to passengers. By introducing an increase of an extra 63,800 seats for Summer 2018 from Birmingham to its new destination of Venice and existing favourites of Arrecife, Tenerife and Ibiza then a city break or two week holiday is easy to find.”

Mark Hall, Director of Product commented: “After a mixed bag of summer weather in the UK, the Canaries are proving particularly popular, especially for families wanting to escape over half term. We are seeing an upsurge in demand over Christmas so we are opening up extra capacity to key destinations in December.”

Looks like various cruise charters to Aquba, Cochin, Muscat, Langkwai, Dubai and Bangkok next winter.

I've tried to do the MAN ones and you have to keep going in and out of the cruise package to get the flights. My battery is about to die so maybe one for another poster to look at.

I think this is good news from Thomson , they are starting to get quite exciting and BHX appears to be in the mix along with MAN/LGW.

Shame to lose Phuket but im sure it will be back, TUI probably dont have many spare aircraft to be honest for loads of extra flights.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
