TUI have so many leased planes at present why are they so short. Two ES-reg 320s ott one behind the other earlier both with TOM call signs.
At least 4 Sunwings,Titan, Avion Wings and more
TUI's summer timetable needs a total of 74 aircraft, the TUI Airways actual current fleet consists of 62 aircraft (will be 63 shortly)
the leased in aircraft for summer should be 15, 7 Sunwing 738's, 4 Avion Express A320's, 2 Titan A320's & 2 Smartlynx A320's
The bases are as follows:-

They also have another B738 to join the fleet shortly, G-FDZR again. G-TUKO B738 is current at Lasham for maintenance , G-TUID B788 is current flying for TUI Netherlands out of AMS
However they are now using the following extra aircraft:- a Getjet B738, BHX, a Getjet A320, LGW & a Privilege Style B752 also at LGW, which can only be down to lack of TUI crew.
