Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister was one of the best comedies the BBC ever made.
I say comedy, but it's probably far closer to the truth than many of us realise (whichever party is in power).

I always thought that Terry Jones (the city gent in this sketch and the nude organist used as a link in many episodes) was an under-rated member of Python. I rated him highly. A pal of mine was at school with him at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford when he was Terence Parry Jones.

I watched Python a lot but admit that some of the sketches were a little weak. However, with so many enduring classics there was bound to be some dross. Some of my favourite sketches probably would not pass the PC test these days so I'd better not link them.

This one might just pass the PC test. It's rather long but I think there are some clever bits and at one point Michael Palin clearly has a fit of the sniggers but the sketch recording was not stopped.
