William Pearson (Head of Aviation Development) has announced via Twitter he is leaving BHX.
I think this is the right time for Mr P to depart. BHX needs fresh blood

BHX is starting to resemble the The White House with all these departures.
@Ray Finkle and @Brum X it’s time to update those CVs and make BHX great again!![]()
Are you suggesting the next CEO is a madman?BHX is starting to resemble the The White House with all these departures.
I won't be bothered about that if he can Make BHX Great AgainAre you suggesting the next CEO is a madman?![]()
New CEO bringing in their own people? Might explain the delay in announcing who it is?

Good point but how many of these new airlines are still there? As for the football analogy. If a football manager spends millions on players who end up being there only for short term financial gain and no commitment he is soon gone.Given that William Pearson was head of aviation development when BHX 'moved up a gear' not so long ago by attracting a raft of new airlines, i feel a little uneasy that he has signalled his intention to leave without any announcement of a new CEO. To me, that does not signal good and stable management.

Especially if you have just spent further millions building a new training centre for them.
That's an absolute, definate, 100% 'NAY', for me!But a serious question if i could bring a 15 Aircraft Easyjet base tomorrow at 6am but all of our other short haul airlines departed from BHX after all these years, is it a yay or a nay ????

I look at BRS. easyJet is responsible for over the half the annual passenger numbers there. It's true they fly some routes that other airlines might not touch and provide high frequency on some domestic routes. However, if for whatever reason (and potentially there are many) easyJet decided to leave or substantially run down its BRS operation the airport would have a major problem. If i was CEO easyjet would be at BHX tomorrow but then all the other airlines will leave, so where would that leave me ?
