Can anyone else access the MAN start of season report on ACL, every other report is accessible - the MAN link just sends you back to the same page, whereas other airports link correctly sends you to the report?

Having been on the ACL site I note that you have to submit company, or personal, details in order to download any of the start of season reports.

Have you thought of submitting those details to then see whether it automatically grants you access?

Yes it grants access for all other reports, apart from MAN, which on clicking 'Send' reverts you back to the same page and not the actual report.

As you may be aware, if you follow the statistics thread, I keep a record of available seats and load-factors for specific long-haul routes from Manchester.

The screenshot below shows how the number of available seats has changed over the last 4 months. Basically we are looking at a reductions of over 90pc.

Hainan return to Manchester this Friday.

Initially will run a 1 weekly flight from Beijing, initially just cargo inbound, and outward to various points including Hangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing, depending on return cargo requirements or passenger requirements. Arrives 1035 as HU7903 departs 1235 as HU7904.

Friday’s flight is actually taking Chinese nationals back to Hangzhou after unloading the cargo.

In the next few weeks, a 2nd weekly flight will begin to Chongqing. This is due to needed extra capacity, but as a scheduled flight, the Chinese Govt have a 1 weekly between 2 destinations rule, so Hainan cannot run PEK-MAN on a 2nd weekly frequency,

All in all, if it keeps Hainans foot in the door at MAN, it’s very welcome even if just cargo and outbound for now,

And it should remain Cargo and outbound only for the next 3 months - until we get a grip of the infection rate in the country/north-west. Nice to see MAN slowly picking back up however.

Thank you for keeping us posted Scottie, I always enjoy reading your comprehensive updates (y)
Thank you jfy1999 for your kind words however you must appreciate that very often the hard work has been done by others and I just act as an intermediary - with the exception of the monthly statistics which are compiled by myself.

@Scottie Dog as always, thanks for passing on this vital info on this great forum!

I'm looking at travelling on business during July (quarantine rules pending of course), but I usually fly either AF/KL, LH or BA. And was just wondering if the current schedules of these carries remain the same during July too?

I can only suggest that you check directly with the airlines directly to find out what they are planning.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
