EK39 is holding for now. We are SNOW CLOSED at the moment after a heavy fall of snow. Approximately 5 inches here.

Also a good decision by the flight crew to persist in executing a landing at designated destination this avoiding the inevitable additional costs of diverting possibly essential cargo. Excellent stuff!

It's a regular freight flight currently. PPE equipment or vaccine. Operates twice a day , most days from/ to Brussels.

Thank you for the reply. I was looking round it seemed like every where yesterday and i was amazed how many airlines are hauling freight around.The main freight is covid related items and car parts.

Lucky to have the one pax flight. A fair amount of airports around the UK have no pax flights at all.I think what ever it can get pax wise is a bonus This covid thing has a lot to answer for.

I can't see that happening. They are too bureaucratic to organise anything quickly in the EU. They are sounding off as usual.

Not the thread for it but EU are in pain because we had the temerity to walk away from the project and take huge contributions to the budget with us AND come up with a vaccine that they insist they funded in development. Now they claim to be monitoring all exports to third countries of "their" vaccine .....oh so European! Bureaucratic is too kind a word for it, bloody minded is my description, almost Trumpish!

Something very odd showing up on FR24. DHL B757 G-DHKH is showing as 4950ft and a ground speed of 9kts It is also showing the call sign of EATTEST. Routing is BHX - N/A.

[EDIT] it's now up to 9250ft and 4kts ground speed. Must be one hell of a headwind!

When I looked it was at 20000+ ft and 0 knots
