We also have some Alitalia flights coming over next week apparently for the F1, E190 and somebody suggested an A330 ? :geek:

Air freighters? To bring in the cars?
For European races everything normally travels by road, but maybe this year with the difficulty of crossing borders and quarantine it is being airfreighted and the Italian personnel will be isolated within a 'bubble' for the weekend of the race. A team like Ferrari will move some 50 tonnes of equipment for each race!

Busier day today.

I make it thirty-nine passenger flight arrivals including Hi Fly A339 from Islamabad positioning out to MAN after dropping red list passengers I assume.

EasyJet eight flights today, good but wish they could get Amsterdam running.

In addition today TUI showing a B789 positioning out to Stuggart and a B767 positioning in from Gatwick also around half a dozen freight flights today plus the usual GA stuff.

STS just have Wedgetail in currently after the recent glut of A330s

FR24 is showing a lot of arrivals and departures today (to/from LHR, LGW, LTN, STN, DSA, LPL etc) using the airline code 'VG' and aircraft listed as 'LMO'. I'm not for a second expecting these to be real flights, but does anyone know why they are listed or what they refer to?

I was wondering about this too. I think I’ve solved it. See my post on the FR24 thread

Aurigny to Guernsey flights start today from BHX
I hope they do well with the service but some of the prices are eye watering for a short hop £200 with single case. Channel Islands has never been a cheap destination but the pricing generally across a number of airlines is a lot more expensive than the popular med holiday spots. For families, it doesn't provide an affordable option so numbers may be supressed and not provide long term services

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
