Birmingham: Aircraft Movements, Flight Logs & Daily Heads Up

Use this prefix for new threads for Birmingham Airport
A few random observations from yesterday as it was a busy day on the GA Elmdon side of the airport.

Looks like fourteen business jets on the ground at various times including a BBJ from Los Angeles and in addition an unusual visitor of the RBAF (Bahrain) a C130 from Heraklion arrived tea time and due out today to Alexandria.

Update:
Highly unusual visitor today from Stansted a USAF C40 (737) to you and me )arrived earlier and just departed.
Can't find any details re purpose or destination etc but they are used for VVIP's .or big cheeses if you prefer.

The USAF C40 bought in people to visit STS hangar where of course they are 'building' the two USAF machines

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
