Pakistan International Airlines has extended schedule listing for Islamabad – Manchester route, on board leased Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Schedule listing shows the leased aircraft to continue operate this route during winter season, on/after 25OCT20. Reservation for the moment is not available.

The airline plans to operate this route once weekly in November, two weekly from 15DEC20. Operational day varies during winter season, therefore following schedule covers the week of 14DEC20. Additional changes remain likely in the next few days.

Pakistan International Airlines in last week’s schedule update filed planned European operation with leased Airbus A330-300 aircraft from HiFly, effective from 25OCT20. Planned operation between 25OCT20 and 31DEC20, as of 16OCT20 as follows.

Islamabad – London Heathrow A330-300 operates every 2 weeks
Islamabad – Manchester A330-300 operates 1 weekly
Islamabad – Paris CDG A330-300 operates every 2 weeks

Pakistan international airlines are looking to do 2 flights to Lahore over the next couple of weeks.
1x flight on the 23rd June using presumably a Euro Atlantic aircraft.
1x flight on 7th July using a Hi Fly A339.

PIA/Jordan Aviation will return to Manchester on 20th Sept.

Operating initially 3 weekly on Tue/Thu/Sat as PK9701/9702.

Schedules beyond Sept for UK ops haven’t been finalised as still show actual PIA operating from Oct, which seems unlikely.

Pakistan International Airlines is looking to resume flights to 🇬🇧Manchester in February 2025, followed by London, then other UK cities

They are aiming for 19x weekly flights to Europe for Summer 2025

The Historyofpia forum is reporting that the airline will discontinue CDG-LHE in mid September to free up an aircraft for MAN-ISB. It does suggest that the issue of short term aircraft availability is worse than assumed. Where this leaves LHR, BCN and MXP in their plans, who knows.

HistoryofPIA is reporting third weekly ISB-MAN from 11/12 on a Thursday. I am surprised as AP-BHX remains out of service and AP-BMH never operates European sectors. The same thread reports 100% load factors t/f MAN. We will have to await Scottiedog’s next update or CAA figures to see whether that is true.

Don't forget that the CAA figures for October won't be out until December!!

Same is being reported on X from SPD Travels who is a very reliable source.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
