I notice that as part of the No 10 North devolution, the PM is planning to allow the Regional Mayors office to call in contencious planning applications (rather than Government ) to drive them through where, at council level, they may be blocked due to the make up of the Plans Panel and their political ambitions. I hope they get on with it as this is an application that will undoubtedly be tough to get approval for, despite the fact its CAA and Government policy to use noise restrictions rather than movement restrictions which are archaic. We are told that although she says little regarding LBA and seemingly does even less, she is sctually supportive . Well if so, it's time to weald her influence and prove it.

Sadly, its certain that the opponents will outnumber the supporters. They nearly always do. The main thing is to encourage as many family, friends and total strangers to log their support and ensure that lot don't have it all their own way. Pledging support on social media just doesn't cut it.

Have done mine and asked my parents to also who live in Horsforth under the flight path and also emailed everyone I no to do it, it might be also a good idea if we can get Blue Sky Live Aviation and Axis Productions who stream at LBA to keep mentioning it, dunno if anyone has there contact but be worth getting in touch

Its worth noting that not all LS postcodes are recognised, it really depends where you pay your rates to, Leeds or North Yorks.

Albiet basic, I have submitted my positive comments regarding the development. I believe I did what I could with not living in the West Yorkshire area. Up to 33 comments now, 26 supporting, 7 objections

Remember, if we get outnumbered by the objections, this is likely a regular occurrence due to objectors generally having a louder voice than supporters. The council will hopefully take account of this

If only the cut off was now!

The Council tend to expect more objections than support. They know most folk dont say anything. If only we could get the support we had for 24H in 1994 with over 17000 supporting compared to 2000 against.
