You can get on a Ryanair test flight that will use the new extension. A bargain at only fifty quid extra!

If they are testing one would imagine it’ll be built up.

So one flight (a Jet2 737-300), then the following day 2 flights. Then maybe later 4 flights with 2 at the same departure time.

Gradually build up resilience etc.

Where exactly do passengers egress from during this temporary phase? Is there a two way system on the security corridor or are passengers coming out of the temporary walkway straight onto the road?

Out of interest, what is the space between the existing terminal and the extension looking like at the moment?
Just about ready to open up. All sealed from the elements. Not much to take a picture of from the outside. Only downside atm is the rather narrow corridor connecting the two which spoils the potential openness of the space. Obviously this will change as the old terminal is redeveloped.

Have they trialed more than one flight at a time yet? I think if there's going to be a crunch point it might be the temporary exit channel but I don't suppose there much they can do about that until they get the CSZ moved.

Live reporting from down town Alanya in Turkey.

The are Loads of new pictures of the new terminal extension just been posted on the Leeds Live website.

If I copy them I’ll most likely get done for copyright. So you’ll have to make do with the link.

Do we know what outlets are going to be in there? So far I only know of Tap and Brew and Burger King, wonder if there’s an announcement / list tomorrow

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
