We were delayed 40 mins due to Pilot "out of hours". He was late arriving LBA last night so had to wait before he could fly again.
@HX3, yes it has been beautiful this afternoon.

Both Emerald/Aer Lingus flights are diverting due fog, current RVR 250m. The Belfast is going to Manchester for a refuel splash and dash and to drop passengers while the Dublin is diverting to Newcastle

What a dreadful period of weather - our prevailing wind these days seems to be more an easterly bias than westerly. Just blowing the skud onto the hill top. Long time since it was below CAT111a RVR!!!! TAF not encouraging - a much later improvement forecast than in the earlier TAF.

The weather next week could get very interesting as a Scandinavian high is to fully establish itself potentially causing weeks of easterly winds and significant snowfall!

The Dublin was in the hold at 9,000ft and the KLM came overhead at 10,000 but immediately commenced an approach and landed. The DUB never even made an approach so maybe an issue with equipment or crew qualification.

This mornings Wizz from WAW seems to have diverted to LPL then flown on to Leeds about an hour later. Presumably with the pax.

Falcon 2000LXS PH-CGV(Mermaid 6623) was inbound from Stockholm and entered the hold at LBA 1525 @ 13000'. After 30 minutes and no sign of an increase in RVR he diverted to Manchester.

I think Ryanair's EI-DHH has gone tech, FR7664 to Warsaw was operated by EI-EML with a 3+ hour delay after its duties to Tenerife
I also suspect G-JZHM may have gone tech this morning as LS223 to Tenerife was operated by G-DRTO off stand 21, and stand 7 wasn't used until nearly 10am, which I deduced G-JZHM must have been parked on overnight
Additionally, LS224 from Tenerife has diverted to East Midlands after 1 missed approach
