I see Gove has approved a new Cumbrian coal mine. He couldn't however bring himself to approve a new terminal for LBA. I do question why I continue to live in this country. It beggars belief.
This proves that it can't have been on environmental grounds. Both had strong supporters and strong objections. The only real differences are that the airport is in Yorkshire and the coal mine is not, and that the coal mine is much worse for the environment

He never got the chance. It sat in Robert Jenricks inbox, never got dealt with. Then he got it; but Boris was leaving so didn't want to rock the boat. Then we had Lizz Truss, then had a coup to to install the country destroyers, economic destroyers and evil globalist megalomaniacs Rishi and Hunt in, and ended up with the clowns who are hell bent on destroying the country.

It could be forgiven for not rocking the boat when you don't know which PM is going to be in next week.

I'll rephrase that.

It could be forgiven for not rocking the boat when you don't know which Tory MP the media and globalist partners WEF, IMF, EU, are going to install as PM in the next week.

No wonder the airport got board of waiting....

Not runway related but it's high time the heaters in the baggage sort halls were significantly upgraded. They've been immediately adjacent to useless for years, which is particularly noticeable just now. It's actually warmer standing outside in the pale light of the winter sun than working within. It's like a deep freeze.

Thought that forum members might be interested to read that the MP for Leeds North West and well-known LBA basher has been on a nice jolly all the way to Canada to talk to some British people about climate change. I wonder how he got there...?
Is he? Brilliant a email demanding why the prick is spending our tax payers money on a meeting that could be on teams will be heading his way. Think he needs a firm reminder he works for us the public. And not the likes of Gates, WEF and other climate change BS agenda pushers.

At the last meeting of the Airport Consultative Committee, it was agreed by members that we would, when requested by LBA, circulate job opportunities at LBA within our respective organisations . For myself, there is no organisation except the supporters of the airport among the general public, accessible via this forum and via an Airport Support Group post on Facebook, or Twitter or whatever.

Here is the first request from LBA. If readers could circulate to anyone that might be interested, we are doing our bit to help the airport recruit.

If its feasible , if lbaspotter could also out put a Support Group ad using the link, in the usual way, that will also help circulate these job opportunities.

Thanks

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
