I think that as GR are wanting to sell G-HUET that T3 should snap this aircraft up. Good reg too as it could represent Helping Uphold Everyones Travel. Something T3 dont seem very good at just now. As an ATR42 would fit in nicely for future fleet renewals and has to be more reliable than the J41s. She generally performed well for GR on LBA to GCI

Just recently G-HUET has been operating for Loganair, so may have already found a new home

Another day, yet another Eastern Airways flight cancelled with this evening Aberdeen rotation.

BE7606/7605 = ABZ-LBA-ABZ

But the not the only guilty ones, as its partner Flybe has also cancelled one of this evening Belfast City rotations as well.

BE737/738 = BHD-LBA-BHD

Yeap a whole load more Flybe (Operated by Eastern Airways) flight cancellations to add Heather.

BE7603 = Southampton > Leeds-Bradford
BE7604 = Leeds-Bradford > Southampton
BE7605 = Southampton > Leeds-Bradford / Leeds-Bradford > Aberdeen
BE7606 = Aberdeen > Leeds-Bradford / Leeds-Bradford > Southampton
BE7608 = Aberdeen > Leeds-Bradford

Perhaps time for a Loganair rerurn op ABZ - GLA - LBA - GLA - ABZ twice a day. That would be reasonable aircraft utilisation, improved reliability and each leg topping up the other

Does anyone know if there could come a time when the CAA revokes Eastern's licence for these routes ? Their performance is shabby, to say the least.

I am sure there must be something to that effect possible. LBA, SOU and ABZ management must be going mad with this unreliability. It should be them as much as the CAA applying the pressure

Eastern Airways Leeds/Bradford - Southampton - Rodez route is now on sale next summer 2018. Looks like a change of aircraft will be required at Southampton though.

Also seems like a whole load of the Leeds to Aberdeen & Leeds to Southampton rotations are to be upgraded to the Saab 2000 aircraft instead of the ageing BAe Jetstream 41's I guess so to improve the reliability..

Eastern do, or did used to offer Route and Zone Passes. The latter should now be renamed "No Fly Zone". I really wish Loganair would take them on from LBA. I know who I would want to fly with - to make sure I actually flew!

We seem to have short memories. Loganair, when operating the Glasgow route, had a diabolical record, with numerous flights cancelled and many more flights delayed significantly.

Whilst I agree with you White Heather I would suspect T3 cancel far more flights than LM ever did?
I am sure they do Finger66, but there again, they do schedule considerably more flights in and out of LBA. Loganair operated 2 per day, 5 days a week and in terms of a percentage, they cancellation rate was at time very high and the on time performance was far from satisfactory too as I recall.

I hope they do come back, but they will have to up their game. I suspect too that Swissport/LBA will have to do the right deal as Loganair's MD wasn't too happy at handling fees apparently and stated this as one of the reasons for pulling out.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
