An extra weekly Malta flight is being added next summer - up to 4 per week

Ryanair calendar booking engine is still showing as 3 x weekly through the summer on my iMac desktop. Is the extra flight loaded into the app?

I don't think that Ryanair has regularly operated MLA from BRS at more than 3 x weekly before. Presumably it's filling the gap left by Thomas Cook. I think that someone posted that the Air Malta flight used by TUI has also gone next summer.

Yes it’s available to view though not on sale every weds evening from April 2020

Mxp now appearing - 3 weekly next summer
I wonder why Ryanair does this sort of thing - leaving the route out of the booking engine until after the others, because it isn't as if it's a new route for them as it operated through the winter. The only thing I can think is that they took their time over evaluating the route if it was marginal against easyJet. There might also have been the question of possible dilution of Ryanair's Bergamo route from BRS.

The flights for next August are showing as sold out!
This usually happens when Ryanair load new routes, but they have not been released for sale. It may be a couple of days before it is bookable.

The latest updates to the BRS schedule see's a forth weekly flight to CGN added, as well as MXP and EGC now loaded.

In comparison to last year, August 2020 sees the following changes:

More flights:
VCE
(5x weekly) +1x weekly vs 2019
CGN (4x weekly) +1x weekly vs 2019
KRK (4x weekly) +1x weekly vs 2019
MLA (4x weekly) +1x weekly vs 2019

Reduction of flights:
PMI
(9x weekly) -1x weekly vs 2019
AGP(7x weekly) -1x weekly vs 2019

Cancelled:
GRO
(6x weekly)
SNN (2x weekly)

Obviously it is early days, and summer is a long way off....

Crikey Bergerac is usually a last minute March time release. Not yet on app but does appear on the webpage. Malaga was 8 weekly until yesterday morning

Earlier this week the Ryanair booking engine calendar for the BRS-Girona route had been reinstated right through the winter and through next summer, but there was no booking availability. I thought for a moment that they might be in the process of putting back the Girona route, at least for next summer.

However, the calendar has now returned to its earlier form with the last flight on 4 November and no calendar after November.

Bergerac has gone again too. It was on tues and sat pm.

No but you could view timings etc now you can’t.

This summer (19) it was Monday and Friday in July and August only.

The fact that different days were inserted for 2020 might mean it's still floating around in their system somewhere. If it's only to be July and August again there is plenty of time and, as you pointed out in an earlier post, Bergerac doesn't usually make an appearance in the booking engine until the spring.

There is a gap in the current schedule that’s perfect for Bergerac to slot into. So perhaps a few more tweaks before it reappears

Ryanair have bought the remaining 25% of Laudamount to go with the 75% they bought back along. They will change aircraft liveries and expand fleet. They have said they will operate 62 routes non announced, but we know BRS is 1 of the routes.

When Red Flyer first gave us an intimation of Lauda operating to BRS the comment was made that we should expect a new airline announcement later that day with further updates to follow.

That could be taken to mean that more Lauda routes would be announced in due course. However, given that Lauda currently only has other bases at Stuttgart, Dusseldorf and Palma it's hard to visualise which other route or routes might be added to the Vienna service (the fourth Lauda base) that was announced that day.

Palma seems the most obvious to add to Ryanair's current BRS-PMI programme. PMI is well covered by Ryanair, easyJet and TUI although the loss of the 3 x weekly Thomas Cook flights might present an opportunity. I can't see Stuttgart, and Dusseldorf might be too close to Cologne already operated to BRS by Ryanair.

I'm just wondering what is the source of this news? So far I haven't found anything in the usual forums, Twitter or news outlets, although there is this article on the takeover that dates back to January:

Ryanair aquired 75% of Laudamotion in April 2018 and the remainder in December 2018.

I took it that superking in #815 was reminding us of that in the context of the BRS service so far announced (Vienna).

Budapest

This might have been mentioned a while ago. If so I missed it, but checking this winter's programme I note that BUD will operate 4 x weekly. It's been 3 x weekly summer and winter for quite a number of years. It reverts to 3 x weekly next summer.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
