Perhaps hardly surprising given the significant increase in flights being offered by Jet2Holidays and flight only with Ryanair.
Who I might add offer a far superior service from LBA.

They are doing flights from PMI to CWL for Thomson during the summer so Leeds also makes sense.Been told that the planned Sunday non based Malaga flight for Thomson Holidays this summer 2017 season maybe getting operated by Spanish based charter airline Albastar At the moment the booking engine is still showing Airline TBA (To be announced) so it could change.
TBA0000 = AGP 12:30 – LBA 14:40 / TBA0000 = LBA 16:10 – AGP 20:15
Now currently Albastar Airlines operates a fleet of 4x older Classic Boeing 737-400's but it now also has a newer Boeing 737-800NG on order and have last year operated flights for Thomson Holidays out of Birmingham Airport.
Anyone following the HM coroners hearing into the Tunisia terrorist attack must have a deep worry about booking ever again with Thomsons.
It seems knowing of possible attacks they removed holidays from the german market and heavily discounted them in the u.k. market, without any warnings of the terrorist information they held.
In addition even when detailed information on an attack received they still took no action to protect guests.
The British Embassy will also not emerge unscathed.
The Coroners report will make grim reading for Thomsons.
I have been on the Thomson website and done a search for holidays/flights to Majorca and they are coming up as operating on Tue/Sun, what happened to the Wed/Thu/Sat flights? Are they still operating?
The Tunisian Interior Ministry received an alert in May 2016 of an imminent attack on Sousse (confirmed in the inquest evidence). It was suggested security stepped up at all holiday hotels in the region, something that did not happen.It is my personal belief that nothing more could have been done to prevent the Tunisian Terrorist attack
Any company offering a service has a duty to access risk and protect its customers, there was a national security alert on a possible attack on the Sousse resort and Thomsons stated they had increased customer protection in this area, facts show they took no action and exposed their customers to a dreadful outcome.Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Had the Tunisian military flooded the resort of Sousse the gunman could have just attacked a different resort. The only difference is we'd be having the same discussion about a different resort.
No prizes either for guessing which flights are booking up fastest - hence the higher charges. Supply and Demand again.hi all

The Coroner will decide if criminal proceedings against Thomsons will take place and if he has a recomendations as to measures that should have been in place.
If Thomsons had put any security measures in place we would not be having this discussion, thats the big difference.
