To be fair at least they did turn up even if it was just 2/3 flights last summer.

The is no point righting TUI off so early, as like every other airport, airline and tour operator, TUI are having to be reactive to the ongoing Covid situation.

Who knows what's going to happen next? but I for one hope this Summer 2022 we see all operators, airlines & airports returning to some kind of normality.

That is true at the top.

I want them to show up as it would be nice to see their MAXs turn up.

But it’s hard to know with their record here weather they will or not. They seem hit and miss. But time will tell if they do.

Just had confirmation that all summer 2022 TUI Airways flights into LBA from PMI & CFU will be operated by w-legged MAN based Boeing 737-800's. Sadly its means no Boeing 737-MAX8's are going to show unless the is a last minute schedule changed due to a tech aircraft on the day.
Well something actually turning up will be a bonus whatever they use.

Come on you lot, it's the same bloody argument everytime I update this thread.

All airlines & operators have had to cut back over past 2 years due to the Covid pandemic. Here's me hoping 2022 is the year we start getting back to normal
I think the issue is that even pre pandemic, TUi failed to turn up far too often . It's been like that since the days of Britannia.

Their track record says a lot. But let’s hope they’re on the same page as other airlines and expecting a busy Summer season. There’s definitely some B738s I hope they send in.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
